Caparo & Communication
Body structures for the new €1,700 Tata Nano, launched at the India Auto Expo (Delhi, January 2008) are to be built by Caparo. Selected inner structural panels will be pressed and assembled by Caparo at a new facility in Singur, India, adjacent to the Tata Nano manufacturing plant. Caparo will supply 60 percent of these assemblies, with the rest being manufactured in-house by Tata.
