Caparo Dynamics at the International Workboat Show
Caparo Dynamics, part of Caparo’s Engineering Division, showcased its specialized anti-vibration and shock reduction technology at the largest North American marine exhibition, the International Workboat Show, held at New Orleans, Louisiana, from 3rd – 5th December 2008.
The show is a specialized commercial event, aimed at both individuals and businesses working on the coastal, inland and off-shore waters in North America. The exhibition focuses specifically on the worldwide workboat industry, and this year featured more than 900 companies represented on over 189,000 sq. ft. of space. Attendees included vessel owners and operators, vessel designers, naval architects, ship engineers, and key shipyard personnel.
A world leader in the reduction and isolation of shock and vibration in Navys and commercial vehicles, Caparo Dynamics’ presence at the exhibition was centered on their products’ superior performance within the workboat environment, including the company’s stainless steel mesh pads for exhaust isolation and their proprietary ‘X’ and ‘Y’ mounts for shock isolation. The Caparo Dynamic’s staff at the show also demonstrated the business’s high level of expertise in the evaluation, design and execution of custom made solutions that deliver quieter, safer and more comfortable environments.

We have already committed ourselves to the show next year, and are excited about establishing a stronger presence in this key world market”, he added.
